Bon Iver - ‘Heavenly Father'

Not long ago, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and brother Nate were paid a visit in Wisconsin by one Mary Ramos. Ramos is the music supervisor on Zach Braff’s upcoming film Wish I Was Here - a project financed entirely by a whopping $3 million raised on crowd-funding platform Kickstarter. Braff, being a music enthusiast and having a few quid to spare, has had the luxury of inviting his favourite musicians to contribute to the film’s soundtrack. The brothers were shown an early cut of the film, and Justin got straight to work. The result is the undeniably cinematic and deeply satisfying ‘Heavenly Father’. Check out the song above, and the film’s trailer below. It’s out on September 11 in Oz.
